Meghan Markle has only been in the royal family for a few months, but she is already adjusting to life as a royal very well.

The entire royal family is known to be very fond of Meghan, but she has reportedly formed an unlikely bond with the last royal that you would expect her to. Believe it or not, sources are saying that Meghan has a “loving relationship” with her father-in-law, Prince Charles!

“Charles showed so much love towards Harry and Meghan, and I think Harry will be eternally grateful to his papa for stepping in and giving Meghan’s hand in marriage,” a source said. “The bond between them is very close.”

Meghan, Charles, and Prince Harry reportedly spent a lot of time together over the summer, as they were spotted dining, reading and taking long walks together. Charles has told friends that he is very fond of Meghan and that she is the “best thing to have happened to Harry.”

“Charles has been very supportive of Meghan and everything she is going through with her own father,” the source said. “He’s got a real soft spot for her and thinks she’s the best thing to have happened to Harry.”

This will come as a surprise to many, as Charles is not typically thought of as the most personable royal. However, it’s clear that Meghan has managed to push past the emotional walls her father-in-law has put up in order to create a close bond with him!
