For people living on a fixed income, it can be tough, particularly for the elderly. Many of them have to choose between purchasing costly medications over putting food on the table or gas in their tank to get to the doctor’s office. It seems like a no win situation to some.
But thanks to the kindness of strangers, one elderly woman who was down on her luck in Michigan, everything worked out okay.
Seth Kazz says he was working at his family’s Citgo gas station when he saw a senior citizen at the pumps. She was using a cane to walk and struggled to get into the gas station.

When she made her way into the station, all she had was $3 in change to put gas in her car. A police officer watched the woman’s situation with concern and quickly jumped in to help her.
He followed her to the car and had her sit down while he pumped gas for her. Then, when he realized that she’d only had $3 to put in her gas tank, he voluntarily put $20 more in her car.

Seth says that watching the officer’s kind actions gave him a new respect for officers. He quickly shared the story to social media and gave a big shout out and thank you to the officer for his kindness.
Officers like this prove that there is still hope for this world. If you agree, please share this amazing story with your family and friends.
