The British royal family is known for being prim and proper. That’s why it came as such a pleasant surprise when an interview just resurfaced in which Prince William revealed his playful side!
In a 2010 interview that took place right after William got engaged to Kate Middleton, he explained that his bride is “naughty” while he is “dirty.”
“She’s got a really naughty sense of humour which really helps me because I’ve got a really dirty sense of humour so it was good fun, we had a really good laugh, and then things happened,” William told interviewer Tom Bradby.
Kate could not help but burst into laughter when she heard what William said.

William also opened up about his romantic proposal to Kate.
“We had been talking about marriage for a while so it wasn’t a massively big surprise but I took her out somewhere nice in Kenya and proposed,” he said. “As every guy will know it takes a certain amount of motivation to get you going so I was planning it and it just felt really right in Africa and it was beautiful at the time and I had done a bit of planning to show my romantic side.”
“It was very romantic,” Kate agreed.

Fans everywhere can’t get enough of the fun interview.
“William is like the perfect man,” one commenter said. “Handsome, smart, well educated, humble, with a great sense of humour (I can sense something a bit dark) and well…he´s a Prince. What else can you ask for really! Lucky Kate!”
“The way he looks at her makes me melt,” another added.
Other internet users pointed out that William closely resembles his mother, Princess Diana, who passed away in a car accident 21 years ago.
“He has mannerisms like his mother,” one commenter wrote. “The looking up and rolling the eyes thing while talking and smiling, is trademark Diana.”
It’s always fun to see the fun side of the royal family! Videos like this serve as a reminder that when it comes down to it, they really are normal people just like us!
