Sometimes, the most memorable moments in our lives happen when we least expect them. Now that the vast majority of us carry cellphones around everywhere, we thankfully have the ability to capture these moments on camera like never before!

Regina Thomason recently took her brother Dwayne Roach out to lunch at an iHop in Abilene, Texas after they went to one of his doctor appointments. After they sat down, Dwayne, who suffers from Down syndrome, immediately noticed something interesting about their waitress Millie’s uniform.

Dwayne, 50, happens to love name tags, and he was drawn to the one that was on Millie’s shirt.

“He told the waitress that he liked her name tag and then told her that his name is ‘Captain America,'” Regina recounted on Facebook.

Instead of ignoring Dwayne and just going on with her shift, Millie decided to do something special for him.

As Regina and Dwayne were getting ready to leave the restaurant, Millie approached their table. Dwayne was ecstatic to see that she was holding an extra name tag that was just for him! Regina was touched when she saw that the name tag read, “Captain America.”

“Thank you to Millie at Ihop. U made his day!” Regina wrote.,

Dwayne loves collecting name tags, and at times he has gone by other nicknames like “John Wayne.” Millie explained to reporters later that this was not the first time she went out of her way to do something kind for a customer.

“When people come in, I want to make them smile. If they leave happy, it makes me happy,” she said. “When he left, I said, ‘Bye, Captain America!’ and he just giggled. It made me feel good.”

God bless this waitress for her thoughtfulness and for displaying such a gracious attitude to this man!
