Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson is a former wrestler who has transformed himself into an A-list Hollywood star largely thanks to his “tough guy” image. That’s why it’s so heartwarming that fans are getting the chance to see a different side of Dwayne, as a conversation he had with his baby daughter is going viral!
Dwayne married his manager Dany Garcia in 1997, and they welcomed their daughter Simone four years later in 2001.
Six years after Simone’s birth, Dwayne and Dany announced that they were amicably breaking up. Shortly thereafter, Dwayne started dating Lauren Hashian, and the two have been together ever since.
“I was so fortunate to have fallen in love once. To fall in love again? That’s a hard thing to do twice in the position I’m in,” Dwayne said.
Lauren gave birth to their first child, Jasmine Lia, in December of 2015.
Dwayne has been open with his fans on social media about his adventures in parenting. Back in July, he posted about an adorable exchange he had with Jasmine.
“Great to recharge the batteries this weekend, back home with all my girls and teaching this lil’ tornado how to swim,” Dwayne wrote. “Took my shirt off and she said, ‘Daddy I like your brown boobies…’ Thank you baby, but daddy has pecs, not boobies,” going on to add the humorous hashtag, “#MrBrownBoobs.”
Lauren gave birth to their second daughter, Tiana Gia, back in April, and Dwayne was open about how powerful the experience of becoming a parent again was.
“I was right there during labor, helping her breathe, every highly intense contraction, every second of pain, right there watching the actual birth, cutting the cord and wiping the tears,” he wrote on Instagram. “It’s a miracle we should witness because it’ll give you a whole new respect for the strength and beauty of a woman.”
Lauren recently took to Instagram to post a cute video of their three-month-old daughter Tiana having what sounds like a little conversation with her parents.
This prompted Dwayne to post his own video of a “conversation” he had with Tiana, and it has since been viewed over 20 million times. The video begins with Dwayne lovingly holding her in his arms.
Clearly fishing for compliments, Dwayne tells her “You have the sexiest daddy in the world. The baby giggles in response.
“I know, I know, right?” Dwayne tells her. “And the coolest Daddy in the world.”
