Payton Kemp is a talented young teenager who many say has the voice of an angel. That’s why when he heard that his high school in American Fork, Utah was having a talent show, he knew that he had to join!

He spent hours practicing for his performance, so when the big day finally rolled around, he was ready.

Payton’s grandmother was the first person to notice his musical talents when he was just three years-old. He got his “big break” when he was 9 and was cast as Young Tarzan for the first Disney Broadway Show at Tuacahn Amphitheater. Later that same year, a director cast him as Admetus in “Cats,” and Flounder in “The Little Mermaid.” Nobody could deny how talented Payton was!

Despite all the attention he has received, Payton has always stayed grounded and credited religion with being his guiding light.

“I am continually blessed to meet and surround myself with some amazing, uplifting, and VERY talented people and because of them, my family and my Father in Heaven, I am learning to become ‘supremely happy,'” Payton said.

Payton feels blessed that he has the chance to use his musical talents to make others happy! He definitely did that in the video below, as his classmates were left speechless by his incredible rendition of Ed Sheeran’s song “Thinking Out Loud.” This is definitely a performance that nobody who was in the room will ever forget!
