We all know that anesthesia can have a hilarious outcome for those around the person who is recovering. But did you know that it can make our pets do strange things too?

Although we never want our pets to have to go through surgery and we worry about them having to go under anesthesia, they can provide us with some significant comedy afterward.

One Reddit user recently uploaded an image of his dog. He says his wife was picking up their dog after surgery and in the photo he’s still “under the influence.”

The photo shows a dog that is clearly still under the influence of the anesthesia and the comments to the photo received are pretty hilarious too!

You’ll be happy to know that the anesthesia did wear off and his dog successfully recovered from his minor surgery. We’ll bet that neither of them forgets the experience anytime soon.
