Butterflies and bees are attracted to flowers because of their sweet nectar, but one butterfly at the zoo recently found something else that caught it’s attention even more than a beautiful flower.

The butterfly landed on the head of an adorable little girl. The tiny tot and her family were enjoying the butterfly conservatory at the zoo when the bright blue butterfly flitted right over to them.

Although it’s not unusual to see the butterflies up close, you can tell by the look on the baby’s face that seeing one that up close has her in total awe. But when it lands on top of her head, she is completely oblivious where the beautiful creature went.

As the event unfolds the butterfly unfolds its bright blue wings and they match the color of the baby girl’s eyes almost perfectly. Dad is filming the occasion and it’s a good thing too because otherwise she might not ever believe it even happened.
