Deer are wild animals yet can occasionally end up in our backyards. They can sometimes annoy their human neighbors when they get into their plants and gardens.

This story is about a woman named Amscolie, who purposely left her backdoor open in preparation for an upcoming storm. This storm did not end up taking very long to reach, and Amscolie eventually went out to her patio to see if one small orphaned deer who used to come around was there.

Amscolie was stunned to then find that three visitors had entered her home unannounced, and they weren’t human! Instead, the orphaned deer had teamed up with two of his friends to quietly walk into her house.

Luckily for the deer, Amscolie is an animal lover, so she let them sleep in the living room of her house for the night since the storm was so fierce.

“I raise orphaned wildlife. Recently, the back door was open as a storm was coming,” Amscolie explained. “The deer were nowhere to be found. Went inside, was heading to the front door, only to see them next to an end table in the living room. Told them they could sleep in the house for the night because it was going to be nasty.”

We applaud this woman for helping out these deer when they needed it! These fawns definitely picked the right house to walk into! We’re glad to see that this scary situation had a happy ending.
