When the Varchetti family recently decided to order a pepperoni pizza from Hungry Howie’s for dinner, they had no idea they were going to get a show on top of their meal!
When 18-year-old Bryce Dudal arrived at the family’s suburban Detroit home to deliver their pizza, he immediately noticed their baby grand piano. Bryce had just graduated from high school and had just taken a job delivering pizzas, but he had loved playing piano since he was very young. That’s why he asked the Varchettis if he could play their piano for a few minutes!

The family watched in awe as Bryce sat down to play the third movement of Beethoven’s Moonlight Sonata, and he did so perfectly!
“When he started playing, I was surprised. I thought he was going to break the piano at first,” said one family member.
However, Bryce knew exactly what he was doing!

Bryce grew up spending hours listening to classical music and trying to recreate what he heard on his aunt’s keyboard. He ended up teaching himself how to play many songs using this technique.
“It was a long process,” Bryce said. “You have to sit there and think and try to put it on the piano, piece by piece. I couldn’t read music back then. I would sit there and listen for hours and hours and try to figure it out.”
It didn’t take long for video of his playing to go viral, as people all over the world can’t get enough of it!
