The backpack teen, Russell Horning, may be credited with creating the crazy dance move known as flossing, but one Indiana grandma is giving him a run for his money.

Russell shared the dance move on Instagram where it quickly went viral. To “floss” you swing your arms with clenched fists from the back to the front on each side of the body and rapidly do it over and over.

As this 70-year-old grandma was leaving a Clarksville iHop with her family when she noticed a little boy doing the popular dance. She was so impressed with his dance moves that she gave him a dollar.

Then the little dancer turned the tables and encouraged grandma to give it a shot, so she did! She started out slow to make sure she’s got the moves right, then sped it up a bit.

Her daughter manages to catch a video of her smooth moves. As it turns out, grandma is a retired pastor and grew up going to sock hop dances during the 50’s and 60’s. Apparently she hasn’t forgotten how to get her groove on either.

She picks up on the dance so easily that she actually nails it and then fist bumps the air in victory when she’s done. Everyone cheers for her as she walks away in sassy style!

Check out the funny video below and be sure to share it with your family and friends.
