The Basso family of Rockaway Township, New Jersey recently got the surprise of their lives when a family of bears took over their swimming pool on a hot summer day!

The Bassos were inside their house when they decided it was the perfect day to take a dip in their pool. It was only then that they realized that the bears had beaten them to it!

When the mother bear came across the Basso family’s pool, she could not resist letting her children play in it. The Bassos looked on in shock as the bear cubs played on their swing set, ran around their yard, grabbed their pool toys, and dove into their pool!

There was absolutely nothing the family could do to get the bears out of their yard!

“Noooooo!” little Sophie Basso screamed. “Now there’s going to be hair everywhere in the pool.”

“Yup,” her mother said in response.

“They’re gonna be poking holes with their feet in the floor,” the father said with frustration.

Sophie began to cry when she heard this, thinking that she would not be able to use her pool for the rest of the summer.

“I wish the bears were in someone else’s yard, not ours,” she lamented.

The mother bear supervises her children closely as they play with all the toys in the yard. By the end of the video, all the inflatable toys have been ruined!

It’s all fun and games until the mother bear takes hold of the water pump, which is connected to the electrical supply.

“Oh, that’s not good. You’re gonna electricu- … Oh no!!” Mrs. Basso screams.

Have no fear, she ends up being fine, and the pool party goes on!
