Elvis Presley rocked the world with his sultry voice and smooth dance moves. When he died of a drug overdose in August 1977, his fans were shocked and devastated, but no one felt the pain of Elvis’ death more than his daughter Lisa Marie. She was just nine-years-old when her father passed, but his legacy has carried on through her, and now into her son who is a dead ringer for his late grandfather. Just see for yourself.
Because Lisa Marie was so young, Elvis never had a chance to meet his grandchildren. His daughter though, spent most of her childhood in the spotlight and was a hit on the Hollywood social scene through the 1980’s when she was finally old enough to date and get married for the first time. She would marry a handful of men including Michael Jackson, Nicholas Cage, and Danny Keough, the latter of which would father her children.
A musician himself, Keough was Lisa Marie’s first husband and the father of her two oldest children. The couple married in 1988 and welcomed daughter Danielle Riley in 1989 and son Benjamin in 1992. Unfortunately their marriage didn’t last much longer after the birth of their children and the couple divorced in 1994.

Having grown up in the limelight, Lisa Marie decided she wanted something different for her children. She chose to keep them out of the public’s eye as much as possible, and very rarely were the children seen out and about. The children would, on rare occasions, be photographed by the paparazzi with their mother, grandmother, or Michael Jackson, their mother’s husband in the early years of their childhood. But because the children were so protected, we never really got to see what the children looked like.
As the children have grown in to adults, we’ve got to see just how strong Elvis’s genetics were. His granddaughter, who now goes by Riley, is an acclaimed actress and model. His grandson Benjamin, has dived head on into the music industry just like his singing sensation grandfather. His love for music though, isn’t the only part of Elvis that Benjamin inherited.
Although Benjamin is a natural blond and doesn’t have his grandfather’s dark hair, his resemblance to the late music great has people turning their heads. Benjamin has his grandfather’s sultry light blue eyes and pouty lips. Lisa Marie herself has said she sometimes gets overwhelmed when looking at her son because of his resemblance to her father.

Apparently Elvis’s genes are pretty strong to come through in his grandson so much. As Benjamin prepares to release his album after signing a $5 million dollar record deal, we’ll have to wait a bit longer to see if he also inherited his grandfather’s singing talents as well.
