It was Valentine’s Day 2016 when Brandon Turnbow was riding his motorcycle down Highway 171 in Texas. He was planning to meet his dad for a day of bike riding when he saw a little dog being beaten by a man on the side of the road.

Turnbow was shocked and decided to give the man a piece of his mind, but before he could get turned around, the man threw the dog onto the curb and quickly drove away.

The little dog shivered in fear on the side of the road and Turnbow knew he couldn’t just leave the little dog there. He slowly approached the little guy hoping he didn’t get scared and run into traffic. Luckily, he didn’t move.

Turnbow said he approached the dog and just folded his body over him to see if he would trust him or bite him. The dog just laid his little body into the comfort of Turnbow who stood up with him and sat him on the bike seat.

He wasn’t sure what to do at that point because he was afraid starting up the motorcycle would scare the pup even more. To help the pup get used to the vibrations, he turned on the motorcycle and let him just sit and get comfortable.

When the dog relaxed and seemed comfortable, Turnbow then put the little Jack Russell into his bag. With the dog’s big eyes staring up at him, Turnbow says he immediately fell in love.

Turnbow named the dog Mr. Davidson after his Harley-Davidson motorcycle and took the pup home with him that day. As it turns out, Mr. Davidson loved riding his motorcycle with him.

The 10-year-old dog settled into life quickly with Turnbow and they make a happy pair. They love sitting by the fire and cuddling after a long day of work.

Thankfully Turnbow just happened to be at the right place at the right time. He loves his new pal so much he even wrote a song about him. Check out the video below and be sure to share it with your family and friends.
