Prince George of the United Kingdom celebrated his fifth birthday last Sunday. To celebrate his birthday, the royal family released a photo of George that may just be the cutest thing ever!

The photo shows the little prince standing in front of a wall at Clarence House, where his grandfather Prince Charles lives. George can be seen giving a very toothy grin for the camera.

“The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are very pleased to share a new photograph of Prince George to mark His Royal Highness’s fifth birthday tomorrow,” Kensington Palace said in a statement alongside the photo.

The image was snapped by photographer Matt Porteous on July 9, immediately after the christening of George’s brother, Prince Louis. Porteous also took a photo of Kate Middleton holding a smiling Louis outside the royal chapel at St. James’ Palace.

“Their Royal Highnesses hope that everyone enjoys this lovely photograph of Prince Louis as much as they do,” the office of Prince William and Kate at Kensington Palace added in a statement.

Prince William and Kate have typically celebrated George’s birthday by releasing photo of him. For his fourth birthday, they released an image of him wearing a striped button down shirt at Kensington Palace.

“The Duke and Duchess are very pleased to share this lovely picture as they celebrate Prince George’s fourth birthday, and would like to thank everyone for all of the kind messages they have received,” a spokesperson for Kensington Palace said in a statement upon the release of the photo.
