Since marrying into the British royal family in May, Meghan Markle has had a lot of learning to do. She’s had to learn various etiquette traditions, as well as various rules of fashion. While she’s off to a good start, there is still one rule she’s having trouble with.
Some of the rules include keeping her fingernails lightly colored, traveling with mourning clothes just in case, and keeping her legs uncrossed. But the one rule that Meghan is really struggling with is the rule of keeping her legs covered.
Queen Elizabeth II expects all female members of the royal family to keep their legs covered with skin-tone tights when wearing a dress. While Meghan has yet to be spotted breaking this tradition, prior to her wedding she was spotted several times with bare legs.

Most notably, Meghan sported bare legs in her engagement announcement last November. In her defense, however, she technically still wasn’t an official member of the British royal family just yet.
Supporters and fans of the Duchess of Sussex have been quick to come to her defense. While she hasn’t technically broken the rule, it isn’t likely that people will stop talking and making judgements about her choices of fashion any time soon.

What do you think? Did Meghan break the rules? Share this story with your family and friends and see what they think.
