When 7 year-old Shaney-Lee stepped onstage to audition for Britain’s “The Voice,” he immediately won the audience over with his adorable demeanor. He had been practicing for this moment for months, and he wasn’t about to let anything hold him back from achieving his dreams!

Like the true country boy that he is, Shaney arrived at the audition on horseback, which had the crowd loving him right from the start. After his mother hilariously described him as an “old man in a little person’s body,” Shaney grabbed the microphone and began to sing. His mother was in tears before he even started to sing, making it clear just how proud she is of her little boy!

As soon as Shaney hit his first note, the judges could not help but smile, and the crowd went absolutely wild! They were immediately blown away not only by Shaney’s adorable country “twang,” but also by his incredible stage presence.

As Shaney belted out his rendition of John Denver’s classic song “Take Me Home,” the crowd cheered him on. Everyone in the room could tell that this little boy is destined to be a country superstar!

By the time Shaney hit his final note, his father was in tears, and everyone in the audience was on their feet! At such a young age, this boy is already a force to be reckoned with, and we can’t wait to see where his career takes him in the years to come!
