As the number one inspirational fiction writer in the United States, Karen Kingsbury is used to thinking up all sorts of stories about miracles and angels watching out for us. However, it wasn’t until recently that Karen had an experience that let her know first hand just how much of an impact divine intervention can have on a person.

After traveling to New York City for a business meeting with her publisher, Karen decided to meet up with her daughter Kelsey and son-in-law Kyle to explore the Big Apple. They never imagined that something miraculous was about to happen right before their eyes.

Karen was in a great mood, as her publisher Simon & Schuster had just agreed to published her latest book and also signed her for one more. After receiving the news, Karen’s first thought was to call her dad to share it with him. Though her father had been dead for quite some time after suffering a fatal heart attack, Karen would still think to call him first whenever she received good news.

It brought a smile to Karen’s face when she remembered how her father would always say that he thought of his wife and grown children whenever he heard Rod Stewart’s song “Have I Told You Lately.”

Karen could not help but feel a bit sad as she thought about her late father, but she still headed to Central Park to enjoy the beautiful day with her daughter and son-in-law. As they walked, the song “Have I Told You Lately” played in Karen’s mind.

Eventually, the three stopped to take a selfie, but they were struggling to get a good one, so they stopped a stranger and asked him to take a photo of them. After taking the photo, the man said, “That’s lovely.” He then handed the camera back to Karen and said, “God bless you” before walking away.

It was only when the man was gone that Karen realized who he was, and her heart immediately dropped! Find out who he was in the video below, and SHARE this story so your friends and family can see this as well!
