With all the new things happening in the British royal family, it’s no wonder that they are the talk of the internet, magazines, and television around the globe. Wedding and the birth of a new prince aside, there’s one more thing that people everywhere are beginning to notice.
When Princess Diana and Prince Charles welcomed sons William and Harry, the world kept a close eye on them. We watched them grow up and mature, get married, and now Prince William has started his own family.
We feel almost connected to the two young princes, and now, as William and Kate have started their family, we are watching their additions to the royal family too. George, Charlotte, and the newest addition, Louis, are some of the world’s most famous children.

One of those children seems to have stolen the show a little more than the other two though, but it’s not for the reason you might think. We adore all of their features and little personality quirks, but something special has been noticed about Princess Charlotte.
Being the only girl of the family is one thing, but people have noticed that Charlotte is beginning to resemble her grandmother, Queen Elizabeth, more and more as she gets older. Not only do they look alike, but they share some of the same interests.

Queen Elizabeth is known for recycling her shoes, but one of her favorites is a pair of black flats. Princess Charlotte seems to have her love of shoes just like her grandmother, but prefers a Mary Jane-style shoe in blue and maroon.
Princess Charlotte has also developed a love of horseback riding, which the Queen loved in her younger years. Princess Charlotte definitely has a wonderful role model to look up to, so we’ll just have to see how much more she mirrors her grandmother as she gets older.

Check out the video below of Queen Elizabeth and some of her most famous hats. Only time will tell if Princess Charlotte develops a love for hats like her grandmother. Share this story with your family and friends and see if they think the two royal ladies look alike too.
