Jaylyn Hosburgh and her husband wanted nothing more than to be parents. Unfortunately, Jaylyn struggled with fertility issues. She and her husband spent over $10,000 for IVF treatments that their insurance wouldn’t cover.

Every negative pregnancy test caused Jaylyn to go further into a deep depression. Eventually she started checking into the idea of adoption because she was convinced she wasn’t ever going to be able to have kids of her own.

The couple went through the home study, but couldn’t commit, so they went back to the idea of IVF. However, it was going to cost them another $20,000 which they didn’t have the money for.

Knowing her daughter was depressed, Jaylyn’s mother called her and asked her to go to bingo with her. Jaylyn reluctantly agreed to one session. That trip to play bingo changed their lives. Jaylyn’s mother won $24,000 and five days later Jaylyn had the IVF treatment she had been wishing for.

The couple tried not to get their hopes up, but when the time came to take a pregnancy test, they were shocked to see a positive result. The first positive pregnancy test they’d ever seen. They cried and couldn’t believe their bingo babies had been conceived.

To their surprise, the couple discovered that not only was Jaylyn pregnant with one baby, she was expecting twins! The pregnancy wasn’t easy though. She experienced frequent spotted bleeding, and the labor was even worse.

When each baby was born, Jaylyn experienced hemorrhaging and thought she was going to die. At one point her heart rate was 200 beats per minute and her blood pressure was only 60/30. Luckily, a high-risk pregnancy doctor was on duty and was able to save her life.

A few days later the happy couple went home as a family of four. They welcomed Maxwell Richard Joseph Hosburgh and Christine Beverly Hosburgh into their home. If it weren’t for Jaylyn’s mom and her lucky bingo card, these beautiful babies might not ever have been born.
