Dogs love nothing more than creating mischief, and they can typically get away with anything because it is so hard to stay mad at their adorable little faces. Bear and Bull are black labradors who recently had an encounter with a UPS worker that shows just how mischievous they really are, and it could not have ended in a more hilarious way!

When Carol Jordan adopted these two dogs, she had no idea what she was getting herself into! The playful duo love creating mischief wherever they can, with some of their favorite things to do being dragging down drain pipes, chewing up doorjambs, and destroying lawnmowers (three lawnmowers to be exact).

On top of that, Bear and Bull have dug so many holes in the garden of Carol’s Smithfield, Virginia home that there isn’t much soil left that has not been dug up by them. Despite all their antics, Carol can never seem to stay mad at them!

“They just can’t help themselves. We never catch them in the act, we just see the destruction afterward,” she explained.

While Carol doesn’t mind if they ruin things that she owns, she’s not about to allow Bear and Bull to mess with someone else’s possessions. That’s why she immediately took action when a postal worker became the latest victim of her dogs’ mischief.

The postal worker had left the door to her truck open when she arrived at Carol’s home to deliver the mail. Bull and Bear took the opportunity to dive into the truck to see what they could find, and when the postal worker returned, she found that they had eaten her lunch!

The postal worker was not angry at the situation, but she decided to leave Carol a note letting her know what happened just so that she would be aware of it in case the dogs got sick:

“Hey! I drove up to deliver a package and both of the dogs crawled in my truck. They got into my lunch and ate an egg and some carrots and pumpkin seeds. I don’t know if that will upset their tummies, just FYI!” the note read.

Carol was both touched by the note and mortified by what Bull and Bear did, so she decided to offer an apology from her pets’ perspective.

The postal worker arrived at Carol’s home next week to find an apology note that included gift cards.

“Sorry we ate your lunch,” the note read. “Thank you for sharing! P.S. Our humans said, ‘Thank you’ for leaving a note. We didn’t like the note. We got in trouble.”

How cute is that?!

Despite the apologetic tone of the note, Carol does not believe her dogs are actually sorry for their actions.

“They don’t really regret anything they do!” she said. “They will look guilty for a while, but then it is all fun and games with them again.”

It’s a good thing that Bull and Bear are so gosh darn cute!
