Prom is always a night to remember for the high school students that are lucky enough to go, but one particular prom turned out to be something more spectacular than your average prom night. When four teen guys took the stage, you won’t believe how they wowed the crowd.

Wearing brown pants, white shirts, and suspenders, these prom goers would entertain the crowd with their rendition of a dance through the eras. Their routine started with Ben E. King’s “Stand By Me” and progressed through the 60’s, 70’s, 80’s and beyond. Now known as the “New Evolution of Dance” the video has over two million views.

The original “Evolution of Dance” was performed by dancer Jason Laipply in 2001 where he danced his way through 50 years of pop culture. Since publishing his video on YouTube, it has spurred hundreds of videos trying to mimic his routine. The teens in the video below did a great job of dancing their way through time on the stage at their prom.

While these guys could have been nervous performing in front of such a big crowd on one of the most special nights of the year, the smiles on their faces say it all. They are just there to have a good time and entertain their friends.

For over six minutes, these teens entertain other prom goers and you can hear onlookers getting in to the show right along with the dancers themselves. How could you not get excited about such a dance routine?

The four young men dance to hits such as “YMCA”, “Ice Ice Baby”, “Beat It”, “Macarena”, and “Single Ladies”. With acrobatic and dance moves combined, these guys were destined to be a hit at their prom that no one would ever forget. They’re sure to be talked about at class reunions to come for years.
