There’s nothing harder as a parent than watching our child suffer while knowing that there’s nothing we can do about it. This is exactly what Zach Oxendine was feeling when his son Judah was born at only 23 weeks gestation and just weighing 1 pound 8 ounces.

Because of complications from his birth, Judah was born with a debilitating lung disease, cerebral palsy, and he is deaf.

Judah has faced many problems since then, yet despite everything that he has been through, he has always kept a smile on his face. It was this angelic smile that caused Zach to burst into tears as he sang and danced with his son recently in their living room. His wife captured the touching moment on camera, and it has since gone viral.

Zach was singing the song “Boy” by Lee Brice to his son before he began to cry.

The Oxendine family is passionate about music, and they are constantly playing everything from country music to classical, hip-hop to rock in their home. As soon as “Boy” came on the radio, Zach picked up Judah and started to sing. He was stunned to find that despite the fact that he is deaf, Judah was able to understand the meaning of the song.

As Zach sat down on the couch to sing to his son, Judah looked up at him and gave him the biggest grin in the world. When Zach saw this, he could not hold his tears back any longer…
