Texas police officers have started a friendly lip sync battle that is taking the country by storm. It all started with one video posted on the Bexar County Sheriff’s Department Facebook page and has quickly spread across the Lone Star State.

In the video, Deputy Alexander Mena lip syncs to “Fuiste Mala” by the Kumbia Kings. His suave serenade stole the hearts of all who watched him belt out the lyrics, but also inspired other departments to join in on the fun.

Just a few days later, San Antonio police officer J. Quiroz was inspired to share his own video. He filmed himself lip syncing to NYSNC’s “Bye Bye Bye.” The classic boy band anthem catches everyone’s eyes, or is it the smooth moves Quiroz makes while performing?

Not to be left out, officers Jimmie Zamora and Jordan Armstrong from Robstown, Texas, decided it was time for them to come out of retirement. The two posted a video back in 2015 of themselves lip syncing to Taylor Swift and Cyndi Lauper.

This time they pick the Backstreet Boys “Everybody (Backstreet’s Back)” and end the video singing Selena Gomez’s song “Bidi Bidi Bom Bom.” The law enforcement duo was quick to point out that they were the originators of the lip sync performances.

Whether you’re from Texas or not, this collection of videos can brighten anyone’s day. The videos have earned nearly three million views combined. It’s still a debate over who actually won the battle.

Be sure to check out the video below and share it with your family and friends. Who do you think is the winner?
