Lucy is a loving, caring little girl who suffers from Down’s syndrome, and she spent the first six years of her life as an orphan in China. After spending the early part of her life in an orphanage, Lucy was picked to be one of a couple dozen lucky special needs children who were flown to the United States as part of an adoption program.

After Lucy was matched to a ecstatic family, the time came for her to meet her new mother and father!

Brent and Audrey Shook were incredibly excited to meet their new little girl. They were already the parents to five biological children, but they thought that Lucy would be the perfect new addition to their family. As they waited for her to arrive at Houston, Texas airport, the Shooks could not hide their excitement at the prospect of meeting their new little girl.

What happened when Lucy finally arrived is sure to bring a tear to your eye!

As Lucy is escorted off the plane, she can be seen looking around anxiously, trying to spot her forever family. Audrey starts to cry as soon as she sees Lucy, as she is overwhelmed by the emotions of the moment. Without hesitating, Audrey runs over to Lucy, and the little girl’s response leaves everyone in tears. There wasn’t a dry eye in the airport as everyone looked on witnessing this amazing scene!
