If you’re anything like me, you love bacon more than any other food! Bacon grease may seem like something that you just throw away after enjoying your favorite meal, but there are actually many ways you can use this grease to help you around the house.

We’ve compiled a list of eight ways you can use back grease around your home, and some of them may surprise you!

Flavor Your Eggs – Instead of throwing away your bacon grease, use it to make your eggs taste like bacon!

Salad Dressing – Eating salad is certainly healthy, but it’s not nearly as tasty as bacon. By using bacon grease to season your salad, you can eat healthy while still getting your bacon fix!

Make Candles – Believe it or not, bacon grease can be used to help you make candles! All you have to do is heat the grease, coconut oil and beeswax in equal quantities in a double boiler. When the temperature gets to 140 degrees, filter through a cheesecloth and then pour it into a jar with a wick.

Polish leather – Dip the grease onto a cloth and dab it on your leather shoes and belts to make them shine as if they are brand new!

Use It On Stubborn Stickers – There’s nothing more annoying than stickers and labels that won’t come off. To get rid of the stickers, apply a cooled strained grease on it and the stickiness should go away.
