Working in an aquarium may seem like it’s all fun and games, but it’s actually very hard work!

In the video below, a diver is working hard cleaning a tank at an aquarium when he gets interrupted by someone very unexpected. By the end of the video, the diver has found himself hugging a shark!

When the zebra shark first swims up to the diver, it isn’t immediately clear what he wants. It’s hard not to feel nervous when the shark ominously approaches the diver, but it quickly becomes clear that he does not want to hurt him at all. In fact, he wants to do quite the opposite and be best friends!

Finally, the diver realizes what the shark is after, and he stops his work to give him the hug he craves!

The video has quickly gone viral, as people all over the world say that they’ve never seen anything like it!

“Did I just watch a shark become a water dog?” one user asked.

“This is possibly the cutest thing I’ve ever seen,” another added.

“I’m going to the beach tomorrow to try this on the first shark I see,” a third social media user commented. We certainly would not advise anyone to do that!

We do have to agree that the creature in this video seems far more like a dog than a shark, which are creatures that are typically thought of as disliking humans.
