Though our children love us very much, it can be difficult for them to be honest with us, especially when they become teenagers. Once they reach a certain age, children prefer to open up to their friends rather than their parents. While we may think we know our kids very well, some of the things they do as they go through their teenage years may surprise us.

In the hilarious story below, one mother has to face the music and come to terms with the fact that her teenage daughter is not the angel that she thought she was. The naive mother has learned that her teenage daughter is pregnant, but she can’t make herself actually believe it. Running out of other options, the doctor comes up with a hilarious way to make this mother face facts!

The story begins with the mother taking her 16 year-old daughter to the doctor.

“Okay, Mrs. Jones, what’s the problem?”

“It’s my daughter Mandy. She keeps getting these cravings, she’s putting on weight and she’s sick most mornings,” the mother said.

After examining Mandy, the doctor tells the mother, “Well, I don’t know how to tell you this, but your Mandy is pregnant. About four months, would be my guess.”

“Pregnant?! She can’t be, she has never ever been left alone with a man! Have you, Mandy?” the mother says incredulously.

“No mother! I’ve never even kissed a man!”

The doctor quietly walks over to the window and looks outside for a good five minutes.

“Is there something wrong out there doctor?” the mother asks him.

“No, not really, it’s just that the last time anything like this happened, a star appeared in the east and three wise men came over the hill. I’ll be darned if I’m going to miss it this time!”

LOL! How perfect is that?!
