Brett and Lauren, from Alabama, are the creators of the  pergola and fire pit. “We have a passion for restoration and we’re eager to see our property transform,” said Lauren. “Without a doubt, one of our most beloved DIY projects and our favorite area to retreat on the farm is our outdoor pergola and fire pit.

Having a fun place to relax at night like this would be amazing. You can find all the detailed instructions on the Remodelaholic website. The couple says that the materials for the project, not counting the seating and lighting cost about $1,300. The six wooden porch swings were an additional $100 each.

We found porch swings on Wayfair priced at $93.99 and adirondack chairs for $80 each, also on Wayfair. While you might be spending plenty of time fixing a project like this, it is sure to provide hours of fun once it is finished.

While you’re enjoying your fire, you might want to mix up a batch of these tasty s’mores biscuits. They’re just as good as the traditional treat, but you don’t have to be outside with a fire to make them.

All you will need is 3 cups of biscuit mix, 1 cup of milk, 1 1/2 bags of milk chocolate chips, and 8 large marshmallows. To make them, preheat your oven to 450 degrees. Then mix the biscuit mix and milk in a bowl. Knead it 10 times on a floured surface. Knead the chocolate chips into the dough. Pull the dough apart and make eight large balls. Place them onto a cookie sheet and bake for 7-9 minutes until they are golden brown.

Take the biscuits out of the oven and let them cool. Pull each biscuit apart in the center and place a jumbo marshmallow in the middle. Place the biscuits back in the oven for about three minutes until the marshmallows are toasted and gooey.

If you can just see yourself sitting around a fire eating s’mores biscuits, share this with your family and friends to inspire them too!
