Christina Kokonis-Viggers was on a typical shopping trip at her local Sam’s Club with her friend Amanda Lasher when they came upon a singing machine that is used for karaoke. Without hesitating, Christina did something that shocked her fellow shoppers and made her a viral star!

Hooking up her phone to the machine, Christina chose to sing “Maybe This Time” from the musical Cabaret. Her fellow shoppers took notice as soon as Christina started belting out the tune without a care in the world!

Amanda later said that everyone in the store loved her friend’s performance.

“Afterwards, she got like this great applause. That was amazing,” she said.

Amanda posted the video to Facebook as soon as they left the store, and it didn’t take long for it to go viral. Though Amanda had assumed it would be a popular video, Christina was sure nobody would watch it.

“She said, ‘I’m going to put it on Facebook. This is going to blow up.’ And I said no,” Christina explained.

The video had been viewed 8 million times within a few hours, and it has racked up 14 million views to-date. Many are calling for Christina to start releasing her own music!

We applaud this mother who is confident enough to belt out a song like this in the middle of a crowded store! We think Christina definitely could have a successful singing career in her future, should she choose to pursue it!
