Marriages made in Hollywood are not notoriously long-lasting, but Full House and Fuller House star Candace Cameron and her hubby have managed to break all the rules. Their marriage has lasted the test of time, almost 21 years, and they give credit to God for keeping them together.

Candace was introduced to NHL hockey player Valeri Bure in 1995 by her television uncle, Dave Coulier, at a charity hockey game. The couple instantly hit it off and just two years later they were walking down the aisle to say their wedding vows. Bure says that it must have been fate that he met Candace because he watched Full House episodes to help him learn the English language.

The couple started their family shortly after getting married and now have three teenagers in the house. Natasha, Lev, and Maksim have kept the happy couple on their toes, and Candace and Valeri say it wasn’t always easy having the kids be so close in age, especially when they were younger.

Although the long lasting couple says their marriage hasn’t been all roses, it has been a pretty remarkable journey. Candace says they’ve rode the ups and downs, kept their focus on God, and love each other now more than ever. “We’ve made our mistakes,” said Candace. “But God’s word and His grace sees us through.”

Candace, 41, recently gave a shout out on social media when Valeri celebrated his 43rd birthday. “You’re like fine wine baby, so tasty and better with age,” said Candace in the post where she also shared a picture of her and her hubby wearing t-shirts showing their faith.

It would seem that this happy couple is in for the long haul together. Congratulations on your 21st anniversary, and may God bless you with many more to come!
