Everyone’s handwriting is just a little bit different, but did you know that your handwriting can tell people about your personality? If you’ve heard this before, you’re likely curious about how that works. When you learn what your writing says about you, you just might be surprised how much of your personality comes through in the letters you write.

To begin, write a few lines of handwriting with a variety of words. Then, go through the list below and see just how accurate the analysis is for your style of writing and your personality. You might be surprised what you discover!

The Slant – Having no slant to your writing means that you are logical and don’t often make decisions based on your emotions. Having a right slant to your writing means that you value family, are friendly and love romance, and you’re an emotional person. Having a left slant means that you are reserved and don’t like to be bothered. You’d rather curl up with a good book than go to a party.

Letter Size – If you write using small letters you have good concentration and tend to be more introverted. Large letters means that you desire to be understood and focus on the people around you.

Pressure – If you use a light pressure when writing, you’re a person who is in control. Also, if your environment changes, you are good at adapting. Heavy pressure means you are an emotional individual who sometimes overreacts.

Lower Zone – If you make a broad “Y” loop you’re open and have a lot of friends. A slender “Y” loop means that you have just a few, but very close, friends. A long “Y” loop means you love to travel, but a short “Y” loop means you’d rather stay at home.

Letter Connections – Disconnected letters means that you are intelligent and have a strong intuition while connected letters means you have a logical plan and often make decisions quickly.

Upper Zone – A retracted “L’ means that a lot of your plans don’t work out making you have a bit of a pessimistic outlook on life. A looped “L” means that you set firm goals and believe in your ability to achieve them. A retracted “T” means that you work very hard and have a lot of self control, but a looped “T” means you don’t handle criticism very well.

Dots on the “I” – If you make a small dot when dotting an “I” you are a perfectionist and like to keep your life free of clutter. A circular dot on top of an “I” means that you are artistic and have an active inner child. You also like to stand out in a crowd.

Cross on the “T” – If you cross your “T” low it means that you have low aims in life, but if you cross your “T” high, that means you reach for the stars and have high self-esteem.

Word Spacing – Leaving a narrow space between words means you have dependency issues with people and don’t like to be alone. Having wide spacing between words, however, means that you’re independent and like to avoid crowds.

Line Spacing – If you space your lines of words evenly you respect boundaries and understand conversations about them. However, if you leave little spacing between lines you are likely poor at managing your time.

What did your writing tell you about your personality? If you’ve enjoyed this, share this with your friends and family and see what they learn about themselves too!
