For years my mom, who is in her mid 60’s has said she can’t wait until she gets old enough that she can do whatever she wants and everybody just laughs because she’s an old lady so it’s okay. It seems as we age that we care less and less about what people think of us.

While my mom might not be willing to leave the house with curlers in her head, I’m sure that one day she’ll say something out loud that I wish she had just kept in her mind. Honestly though, I can’t wait until I get to that age too. Is 40 that age? Maybe I’ll just start a new trend.

When you’ve got a happy heart inside, there’s really no reason that you can’t let it out when the urge strikes you like this grandma did one day while picking up a few groceries at her local mini mart. Her favorite song came on and she just couldn’t help but let the beat of the music overcome her.

She dances down the aisles to Stevie Wonder’s “Part Time Lover” which makes her dance moves even more endearing. Whether she’s dancing because she likes the song, or because the shelves behind her are stocked with wine, we may never know. But you’ll definitely enjoy watching this video of her busting a move.

Grandma gets into her dance so much that she even hits on a young man buying a soda. She asks him, “Are you my part time lover?” All he can do is laugh as he watches her continue her dancing moves. I’ll bet you’ll be laughing too!
