Any dog owner knows that canines love their toys, and while most of them like balls or squeaky toys, the pet in this video loves nothing more than his plush teddy bear!

The dog loves his teddy bear so much that he is determined to bring the stuffed animal into his small kennel, and what happens next is hilarious!

Though this dog loves his bear more than anything, the website BarkPost points out that other canines prefer nature’s goodies over store-bought items.

“Dogs investigate the world with their mouths,” the site stated. “It is common for puppies, and even adult dogs to examine fascinating outdoor goodies like pine cones, rocks, sticks, bugs and grass by picking them up in their mouths. Sticks may be reminiscent of the shape and texture of bone – which we know they love to chew. A nice round rock may remind them of a ball.”

It’s safe to say that this dog much prefers his teddy bear to anything in nature, however. Watch as the dog uses all his strength to try and pull his bear into his kennel, as he has no intention of spending his nap alone!

“This adorable long-haired dachshund named Arvo wanted to go to sleep, but it needed its teddy bear to cuddle with. It seemed like the bear was too big to fit in the dog’s kennel, but because of Arvo’s unwavering determination, the bear managed to be stuffed inside,” the video description reads.
