When Ryan Cherwinski grabbed her behind at Vinnie Van Go-in Go’s Savannah, Georgia, Emelia Holden, 21, held his hand and threw him to the ground.

Holden stated that she initially assumed it was a buddy grabbing her as a joke. Holden stated that her initial reaction when she felt that was that it was one of her pals. It was a very personal touch.

His hand extended further than it should have, so she thought, no way a stranger did that. She had no idea she could accomplish that. It makes no difference who you are. Noone has the right to belittle anyone.

She further added that when the cops came, Cherwinski claimed he was merely attempting to push her out of the way so he could pass.

When the police saw the footage, they arrested him right away. There was no question about that.

A coworker of the girl then phoned the Savannah Police Department, who dispatched an officer to the eatery.

On June 30, officers arrested Cherwinski and turned him over to the Chatham County Sheriff’s Office after analysing security footage recorded inside the eatery. He is currently being prosecuted on criminal accusations.

The Savannah Police Department verified that the video of the event that has been circulated online is the same one that officers studied before capturing Cherwinski.

Holden has used her newfound celebrity to raise funds for animal shelters, reaching $7,250 of her $5,000 target in less than 24 hours after opening a GoFundMe page.

She added that recently, a video of her went viral, and she has been getting a lot of attention for it. She wants to use this chance to give back to something very important to her, CATS!
