A royal expert is speaking out this week to say that Prince William and Kate Middleton are sending secret messages to Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.

“William and Kate are definitely on the charm offensive right now – and it’s working,” royal expert Duncan Larcombe told Closer Weekly. “While William has always spoken out against racism, his statement this time was really powerful and especially relevant after Harry and Meghan’s accusation about the royal family.”

“William and Kate have kept a dignified silence but now they’re letting their actions do the talking,” he added. “It’s almost as if they’re sending a secret message to Harry and Meghan saying, ‘We’re going to keep going, we’re still here, we’re not backing down, we’re carrying on’. It’s a message to Harry that life continues – with or without him.”

“There’s no doubt the Cambridges have taken his accusation that William is ‘trapped’ in a role he doesn’t want and are determined to show that isn’t the case,” Larcombe continued. “Kate is full of smiles wherever she goes – she’s sending a message back to Harry and Meghan saying, ‘We’re happy, we’re fun – we’re not trapped like you said we are.’ Harry and Meghan created a transatlantic popularity contest with William and Kate when they chose to speak out and do Oprah – and it’s William and Kate who are now winning.”

Meghan and Harry have trashed the royal family repeatedly in interviews over the past few months. During their interview with Oprah Winfrey back in March, Harry claimed that they were insensitive to Meghan’s alleged suicidal thoughts.

“I thought my family would help, but every single ask, request, warning, whatever it is, just got met with total silence, total neglect,” he said. Harry added in another interview that he was told to “grin and bear it” and “get on with it.”

Meghan and Harry have also claimed that they were victims of racism from within the royal family, alleging that an unnamed family member expressed fears over how dark their son Archie’s skin would be before he was born.

Meanwhile, William and Kate have continued to carry out their duties as royals with smiles on their faces.
