Yesterday, we reported that the royal family had gone into panic mode in the wake of Prince Harry announcing that he would be writing a tell-all memoir that is due to be released next year. Now, however, sources are speaking out to claim that the $20 million book is not meant to be a “f–k you” to the royal family.

A source close to the situation told Page Six that Harry does not feel that he is writing the book to hurt his family. Instead, Harry is reportedly determined to write his “truth” as a way to reflect on his life and correct misinformation. This insider claims that leaving his family behind forever is not part of Harry’s plan.

Other sources, however, find this to be extremely hard to believe.

“On what planet does Harry think that this is not a ‘f–k you’ to the family?” said one source.

Other insiders say that even members of the royal family who are closest to Harry, like his cousins Princess Eugenie and Zara Phillips, are not happy about the memoir.

Sources with Clarence House are reportedly terrified that Harry will be critical of his stepmother Camilla in the book.

“Let’s be honest, Harry has never been close to the Duchess of Cornwall,” one insider said. “If he documents their fraught relationship in the book, it could be very damaging at a time when Charles is laying the groundwork for her to become Queen.”

While there is hope that Harry’s relationship with his father Prince Charles will recover, it is not believed that a reunion with his older brother Prince William will be happening anytime soon, if ever.

Harry’s book is set to be released in late 2022, months after Queen Elizabeth’s Platinum Jubilee. At the time of this writing, Harry is still set to attend this celebration with his wife Meghan Markle and their two children.

“Who knows what will happen?” said one royal source. This book won’t be out until well after the Jubilee, it’s too early to know what will happen yet.”

Harry announced his book to the world on Monday, much to the shock of virtually everyone.

“I’m writing this not as the prince I was born but as the man I have become,” he said in the announcement. “I’ve worn many hats over the years, both literally and figuratively, and my hope is that in telling my story — the highs and lows, the mistakes, the lessons learnt — I can help show that no matter where we come from, we have more in common than we think.”

“I’m deeply grateful for the opportunity to share what I’ve learnt over the course of my life so far and excited for people to read a firsthand account of my life that’s accurate and wholly truthful,” Harry added.
