Despite rumors that Prince William and Prince Harry reconciled a bit at the funeral of their grandfather Prince Philip two months ago, new reports are coming out indicating that their relationship remains frosty over Meghan Markle.

A source told Daily Mail that in a conversation with friends after the funeral, William even referred to Meghan as “that bloody woman.”

“But look at the way that bloody woman treated my staff — merciless,” William allegedly said.

Relations between the brothers have only worsened in the wake of Harry’s tell-all interview with Oprah Winfrey back in March. During this interview, he went so far as to suggest that the royal family is racist.

“There they were, at each other’s throats as fiercely as ever,” said a friend of the brothers, describing the meeting that they had at the funeral. “The rage and anger between those two has grown so incredibly deep. Too many harsh and wounding things have been said.”

The brothers are set to reunite once again on Thursday at the unveiling of a statue dedicated to their late mother Princess Diana at Kensington Palace. Royal expert Andrew Morton, who secretly collaborated with Diana on his 1992 book, “Diana: Her True Story,” said that she would be “very upset” if she could see the rift between her sons.

“Diana said to me quite clearly on several occasions that she saw Harry as the wingman for William in what would be a very solitary, somber job as future king,” Morton said. “She would have been very upset at the way these two have split apart.”

Kensington Palace said in a statement last year that the statue of Diana was “commissioned to mark the twentieth anniversary of her death and recognize her positive impact in the UK and around the world.”

“The statue will be installed in the Sunken Garden of Kensington Palace on 1st July 2021, marking The Princess’s 60th birthday,” the statement added. “The Princes hope that the statue will help all those who visit Kensington Palace to reflect on their mother’s life and her legacy.”

“Prince William and Prince Harry will attend a small event to mark the unveiling of a statue they commissioned of their mother, Diana, Princess of Wales, in the Sunken Garden at Kensington Pace on Thursday 1st July,” another statement from Kensington Palace read. “In addition to close family of Diana, Princess of Wales, members of the statue committee, the sculptor Ian Rank-Broadley, and garden designer, Pop Morrison, will also attend.”
