Rumors are swirling that the singers Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton may have already secretly gotten married.

Photos obtained by Page Six show Stefani and Shelton walking around Santa Monica, California over the weekend. Fans have since noticed that Stefani appears to be rocking a diamond wedding band next to her engagement ring, which has sparked rumors that the couple may have already tied the knot secretly.

The couple had just returned to California from Oklahoma, where Shelton owns a large ranch. He previously built a chapel on the ranch that he and Stefani have long planned to get married in.

Entertainment Tonight reported that reps for Stefani and Shelton refused to comment when asked if they are married.

This comes days after Stefani took to Instagram to say that she had been “kidnapped” her for an intimate bridal party.

“To celebrate that I’m getting married!” she said in the video.

Stefani then posted a photo to Instagram in which she was drinking wine and holding a present with the words “SHE’S GETTING MARRIIIEEEED” typed out at top.

Stefani had said back in April that she and Shelton are planning a low-key wedding.

“We’re keeping it very simple. Really simple,” she said. “I think the guest list will not have a lot of musicians. It’ll be like my mom and my dad. It’s literally going to be just family. We are looking forward to that, though.”

“It’s going to be fun. We’re going to make it really fun, but it’s not going to be a big [event],” Stefani continued. “It’s not like the queen and king are getting married or something like that.”

Shelton has said that he “absolutely” pictures himself living a simpler life with Stefani someday, out of the spotlight.

“I hope that’s not too far down the road. Ten years sounds like way too long to me,” he said. “I’d like to see that sooner than later. I mean, we’ve both pretty much taken it to the limit as far as our careers go, and touring and now the television thing. It’s been fortunate to accomplish a lot of things, but hopefully at some point we’ll get a chance to live some life. And I think we’re both ready for that, honestly.”

“The older I get, the more I kind of feel like I’m starting to turn into a little bit of a hermit,” Shelton continued. “You know, and just kind of passing on things.”
