The singer and talk show host Kelly Clarkson shocked her fans this week by revealing that she once pooped in a trashcan during a show.
She revealed this on Thursday’s episode of “The Kelly Clarkson Show” while she interviewed country music legend Clint Black. During their conversation, Black talked about an upcoming episode of his own talk show “Talking In Circles,” in which Sara Evans admitted to peeing during a gig.
“How many of us haven’t peed on stage?” he asked.
Clarkson, who had just admitted that she often alienates people by giving TMI [too much information], took this opportunity to tell her own shocking story.
“Well, I’ll tell you right now, there was one time – it wasn’t pee, my friend,” said Clarkson, 38. “I got some kind of wrecked up from some kind of food. We were in an arena – and I shouldn’t tell this story, but like I said, my man, I don’t have a filter.”
“I had to run backstage to my quick-change. I grabbed this poor trashcan, and boy, I destroyed it.It was bad. It was bad, Clint!” she continued. “And we might have to edit this out, but I’m just saying, it happens. What are you supposed to do?”
Black reacted by closing his eyes and clenching his fist, telling Clarkson, “I’m just trying to visualize – hang on.”

This comes as Clarkson is going through a difficult time, as she has been in the middle of a divorce from her husband Brandon Blackstock for the past ten months. Clarkson has previously said that her divorce has been “horrible,” with the custody battle over their two young children getting particularly nasty. Sources claimed to The Sun that Clarkson has been “sobbing uncontrollably” over their split and that she feels “so alone.”
“She’s not in the best place emotionally… One day, she just started crying uncontrollably. She felt so lost, so alone. That’s when she knew she’d hit rock bottom,” one insider told OK! Magazine.
“Kelly is stunned that things have taken such a nasty turn,” the source added. “All she wanted was to get out of the relationship, but Brandon’s made it extremely difficult to walk away peacefully.”
