Joan is a woman from Nebraska who was sick of the way her hair extensions made her look. Desperate for a change, she travelled all the way to the Minneapolis, Minnesota salon of “The Makeover Guy” himself, Christopher Hopkins, to see what he could do for her.

Christopher specializes in giving women over the age of 45 a new lease on life with his epic makeovers, so Sandy knew that she would be in good hands with him.

”The whole mission is to uplift behavior through beauty,” Christopher said in the trailer video for his YouTube channel. “How you present yourself: how you speak, how you walk, how you talk, how you present yourself to the world.”

That’s why Joan knew going in that she would be in good hands with him.

“Hi my name is Joan and I traveled in from Nebraska. If he could something with this I’d be happy,” she said before her makeover, gesturing to her hair. “I don’t think I have any fears.”

It’s clear from looking at Joan that she really wasn’t afraid and knew this would turn out well, as she positively exuded confidence. Sure enough, Christopher knew exactly what to do with her, and Joan ended up with a short, frizzled haircut that brought out her bubbly personality. She couldn’t believe her eyes when she saw how good she looked when he was done with her!

“Look at me! What do you think? Big ginormous change. This is unbelievable.” Joan said. “I haven’t felt like this in a long time. I’m 63 and I feel like I’m 30!”

Social media users agreed that this was one of Christopher’s best makeovers ever.

“You look 20 years younger!!! You rocked that makeover!” one internet user commented, with another adding, “She has a cute, bubbly personality and Christopher brought it out with his makeover. Well done.”

“Love her personality, she seems like she would be a lot of fun to hang out with! She looks amazing!” a third user wrote, with a fourth commenting, “Now THAT is what I call a transformation. Her hair looked in shocking condition before. There is hope for us all ha ha.”
