Spring has finally started appearing, which means that summer is just around the corner. It’s time to put out the hummingbird feeders and get ready for visits from the beautiful but tiny birds that make their appearance each spring and summer.

These feisty little birds are one of the best parts of summer, along with ice cream cones and swimming pools. All of the best things happen in the summer time.

These brightly colored creatures are frequently spotted by people, but rarely are we lucky enough to see more than one or two at a time. This lucky viewer was able to catch an astonishing 30 of them splashing in her bird bath.

In the video below, you’ll see the entire bird bath filled with an amazing amount of these little beauties as they splash, spin, and groom themselves in the water.

The video is proof that even hummingbirds like to cool off in the water when temperatures rise. I wonder if they like ice cream too? Maybe we better just stick with their regular nectar in a feeder.
