New reports are coming out stating that Queen Elizabeth may be preparing to give Prince Harry and Meghan Markle some very bad news this spring, as she may strip Harry of his beloved military titles.

Yahoo News reported that when the Megxit deal was made back in 2020, Harry’s military titles were put on hold, with the Queen revisiting the idea in a year to see if he could retain them or they would be gone for good. Now that it has nearly been one year, Harry is getting ready to campaign to get his titles back.

“His military work is one of the most important things to him,” a source told the Telegraph. “Of course he wants to keep them.”

The insider went on to say that the Queen doesn’t want Harry and Meghan to have “one foot in, one foot out” when it comes to the monarchy, and depriving him of the only aspect he loves about his royal life is a way to control the situation.

Harry is going to travel to the United Kingdom sometime in the coming months so that he can campaign to his grandmother in person to keep his titles. The fact that he recently won his defamation case against the Mail on Sunday and Mail Online, who claimed he abandoned the military to move to America with Meghan, will likely only work in his favor.

“The duke’s commitment to the men and women who have put their lives on the line, to those who have made the ultimate sacrifice for their country, and to military families, is steadfast and unquestionable,” his lawyer, Jenny Afia, said in the court proceedings, according to Marie Claire.

However, it remains to be seen whether or not the Queen will buy this argument.

Harry and Meghan shocked the world last year when they stepped down as senior members of the British royal family. They have since moved across the world to the ritzy area of Montecito, California, and they have signed major deals to create content for Netflix and Spotify. It is believed that Meghan will not be accompanying Harry when he travels to the United Kingdom later this year to see his family.
