At the end of December, the former “Fuller House” star Lori Loughlin completed a two month prison sentence for her role in the college admissions scandal. Over the few years it’s been since the scandal broke, Loughlin has seemingly fallen into disgrace, as it appears that she’s been blacklisted by Hollywood.

That’s why it’s come as such a surprise to many that Loughlin’s net worth is still so massive.

Closer Weekly reported that as of this month, the net worth of Loughlin and her husband, Mossimo Giannulli, is estimated to be around $70 million. Their finances did take a bit of a hit in the past few years, as Forbes reported that their net worth was said to be $88 million before the scandal, with Loughlin’s at $8 million and Giannulli’s at $80 million thanks to his clothing brand Mossimo.

Loughlin and Giannulli pled guilty last year to charges related to them allegedly paying $500,000 in bribe money to have their two daughters admitted to the University of Southern California as members of the crew team, even though neither girl had ever rowed before. Loughlin served a two month prison sentence that ends in December, while Giannulli is still in prison serving a five month sentence that is not expected to end until April.

As part of their respective plea deals, Loughlin was forced to pay a $150,000 fine, while her husband had to pay $250,000. Despite this, it was clear that they were not hurting for cash last summer when they bought a brand new $9.5 million in Hidden Hills, California. The six-bedroom house also has nine bathrooms and is located in a gated community, and it’s almost 12,000 square feet. The property includes an in-home movie theater, spa and pool, among other amenities.

Sources have said that while the couple’s reputation has taken a big hit, Loughlin is still hoping to make a comeback in Hollywood.

“That’s her end goal,” an insider said back in June. “After months of keeping a low profile, Lori is ready to return to the spotlight. … She’s already been inundated with offers to do an on-air, tell-all [interview] and is in talks with publishers about writing a book about her experience. … Lori’s full of regrets about the admissions scandal, but she’s not going to let it get in the way of her making a comeback and says she’s learned her lesson.”
