A haunting video that has just resurfaced is going viral this week, and it shows a ballerina perform a haunting routine that has been dubbed “the spider dance.”

Milena Sidorova is a ballerina from Kiev, Ukraine who has been so passionate about dance since she was a small child that she has always known what she wanted to do with her life. She never had any doubt that dance was what she wanted to devote her life to, and nobody else could doubt her talent with the craft.

Milena went mega-viral with her “spider dance,” which she choreographed when she was only 13 years-old.

“As a kid, I really loved spiders and I used to observe them a lot,” she explained. “They had this particular way of moving and were still very gracious creatures, although a bit weird. When I studied ballet professionally, I once tried to imitate the movements of a spider in the living room — which made my mother laugh a lot. She said: “Hey, why don’t you make that into a dance?”’

The dance is nothing short of haunting to watch, given Milena’s itty bitty steps and outstretched limbs. In fact, she’s so convincing as a spider that one almost expects someone to come swat her offstage at some point!

When asked if the spider dance is hard, Milena replied, “Yes. Not necessarily because it requires advanced technical skills, but the spider pose requires a certain flexibility in your hips and lower back that even most professional dancers do not possess.”

Social media users can’t get enough of the incredible routine, as it has been viewed over fourteen million times!

“This is an accurate representation of how the spider on my wall moves when i try to kill it,” one social media user commented, with another adding, “AMAZING A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!!!! She was really moving like a spider. She is FANTASTIC!!!”

“This triggered my arachnophobia, specially at 1:07 the way she jumps around and crawls like a real giant spider,” a third user wrote. “Looks extremely realistic to me so props to the dancer!”
