John Cena, 42 recently announced that he will be donating half a million dollars to the first responders battling the California wildfires.
The WWE wrestler posted on Twitter saying, “In times like this, when people are giving their lives and working around the clock, what they need from us is resource.” He added “This is the right thing to do and I’m doing my part to help the cause.”

The $500,000 pledge was made in honor of his new comedy, “Playing With Fire,” which revolves around a team of firefighters tasked with babysitting three young siblings.
