This Tennessee farmer is giving Cinderella’s Fairy Godmother a run for her money when it comes to changing pumpkins into forms of transportation.

Justin Ownby grew a 910-pound pumpkin this year, he used a seed that had grown a 1,700-pound record-breaking pumpkin, his wife Christin told WTVC.

Apparently, Ownby had the idea to hollow the pumpkin out and see if he could use it as a sort of kayak. Guess what? It worked!

His wife told WTVC that her husband has always tried to grow larger-than-average pumpkins, and this one is the largest yet.

Christin Ownby posted videos to her Facebook page on Monday and said, “In case you were wondering what we did with that giant pumpkin…”

WTVC reported that the last time they checked, the pumpkin was still at the bottom of the pond.
