An epic video is going viral this week showing two total strangers face off in a saxophone battle on the subway in New York City. Captured in 2013, the video shows two musicians face off in the impromptu battle on one of the train cars.

The video opens with one of the saxophonists playing some songs for the other passengers. Eventually, a second saxophonist joins him from the other end of the car, and magic quickly ensues.

Before long, the two are facing off as they cover everything from Michael Jackson’s “Billy Jean” to “Chameleon” by Herbie Hancock. The other passengers become more and more excited as they continue to play. It soon becomes obvious to everyone that what they are witnessing is truly special!

The video has gone mega-viral since it was posted, being viewed over eight million times by people all over the world. Social media users just can’t seem to get enough of it!

“The way they bounce around and their stance almost even makes it look like a Pokemon battle,” one user commented, with another adding, “So jealous of those people who got to witness this for free.”

“You know what I love is in the beginning when they start playing together you can tell they’re trying to feel out the skill level of the other and then about halfway through when tenor starts just wailing on the high notes it’s like the gloves come off and they both release themselves and each start going HAM,” a third user commented.
