Anyone with children has probably experienced their kids being frightened of the supposed monsters that live under their beds. One father came up with a unique solution to this problem, and now other parents want to do the same thing as well!

This British Columbia father’s little daughter Mya was so afraid of monsters that she could not sleep at night.

“She didn’t want to go to bed, she wanted somebody to snuggle with her,” her mother Amber said. “It really started affecting her sleep.”

“She was always saying there were monsters in her room, there was something here, something there,” her father Aaron added.

Knowing he had to do something to calm her fears, the father walked over to his local pharmacy and got a prescription to get rid of them for good! That is to say, the prescription makes them so drowsy that animal control can take them right away easily.

This industrial strength monster spray is so strong that it can repel at least 120 monsters! Just in case the monsters don’t get the hint, however, the prescription comes with one refill.

In the video below, you’ll see that the tables have now turned, as the monsters are far more afraid of Mya than she is of them! Amber said that the spray has “effectively eliminated the monsters in Mya’s room, helping her rest easy each evening.”

Aaron said that if the monsters do come back to bother her, “(She’ll get) her bottle of monster spray and (go) ‘Choo, choo, choo!’ Then she goes, ‘Don’t worry, Daddy. The monster is gone.'”
