With her 40-year college reunion approaching, Janet decided that it was time for her to change things up and get a makeover. She had no idea at the time just how big of a change her makeover would bring to her looks!

Once she decided that she wanted a makeover, Janet sought out the best of the best to make it happen. That’s how she ended up at the Minneapolis, Minnesota salon of Christopher Hopkins, better known as “The Makeover Guy.”

Christopher specializes in making over women over 45, and as soon as he saw Janet, he knew she was the perfect client for him.

“Janet had just started with a casting agent, and needed to keep her hair long,” he said. “But not THAT long. I think we took a good 20 years off.”

Christopher decided to turn Janet into a strawberry blonde, and when she saw the results, she absolutely loved the color!

“I’m very pleased with the color because it’s not shockingly different, but it’s very updated,” she said.

When Christopher turned Janet’s chair around to show her how she looked, she immediately said, “I approve!”

“I had a wonderful time, I can’t think of a better way to spend a Saturday afternoon,” Janet said.

Social media users agreed, going so far as to say she looked like the legendary Hollywood star Rita Hayworth.

“Wow! What an amazing makeover,” one commenter said. “She went from drab to absolutely FABULOUS! She reminds me of a glamour girl from the 50’s like Rita Hayworth comes to mind. Just doesn’t even LOOK like the same gal!”

“WOW!! What a transformation,” another user commented. “Her ‘After’ makes her look like the daughter of her ‘Before.’ She reminds me of the silver screen goddesses of yesteryear, she is so beautiful.”
